What is the CoronaVirus and its actual tolls? And what are the predictions?

Medically speaking, the CoronaVirus (officially named SARS-CoV-2) is not as “strong” as other viruses in terms of toxicity, namely the Ebola and SARS-CoV, which were exceptionally lethal and due to their high mortality rates, were less contagious (since they kills off the infected so quickly before the virus can spread). As for the CoronaVirus, roughly 85% of those who got the disease only shows mild symptoms, and only about 5% are in critical condition (requiring intensive care), mortality usually occurs in elderly people and those with underlying diseases (like diabetes or cardiovascular). Therefore, it is apparent that the biological danger it poses is not commensurate with the fear of the community.
