1. Did you have a happy childhood?
Everybody has childhood memories and among them some are pleasant and some are sad. For me, I suppose my childhood time very magical and pleasant when I remember laughing a lot and spending lots of time together with my family, in spite of many ups and downs in the prime of my life.

 2. What part of your childhood do you remember most?
I have various childhood memories and I daresay that I would like to hang on to old memory related to my school time, exactly my first day at school. In my very first imagination, school would be a great time and I would have lots of friends and I would study there. However, I turned out to be frightened for few moments and sat at a corner of the class. I was so reserved that I was unable to introduce myself when asked.

 3. What make a happy childhood?
Well, for me, it was totally feeling loved with family, relatives and friends such as plenty of opportunities to play with other children during the long hot summers or getting out and about even if it was just in the garden with your family. I didn’t see much of my father when I was very young as he worked nights and shifts but I have fond memories of sitting with him while he had his tea at 8.00 pm.

 4. What would you like to change about your childhood?
I guess I grew up "on the tracks". There were some families "on the other side of the tracks". In reality we were lower middle class, failing somewhat to fit in with upper middle, but not as bad off as those families just a few blocks away. It would have been nice to have a bit more money, but I still feel proud of my puerility and there shouldn’t have any change about my childhood.

Part 2: Describe a memorable childhood experience

My childhood is the time when I used to have so much fun. I grew up in a poor village located a few hundred meters away from the seaside. Unlike today, there are a lot of skyscrapers and high rise apartments in my place. I remember, at that time, there were only slums, thatched houses, and some red-tile-roofed houses. Although the living standard was poor, the fun of being carefree without any worries or responsibilities was the precious memories that have still been vividly on my mind until now.

As my parents allowed my sisters and me full freedom to explore the surrounding around, I had so many friends, who joined with me in childhood activities like hide and seek, bike ride, fly kites, mountain climbing. However, the things that I liked best were playing in the rain, going for a swim and sandcastle or sculpture. I was really crazy about the feeling of enjoying the rain by splashing around in puddles and getting soaked. I also really had a good time at the beach, being covered in sand while digging on the beach, making sand castles or sculptures, and waiting enthusiastically for the next wave to knock them over. In the evening, my friends would gather outside after dinner to chat, sing and tell ghost stories to each other.

Now when I look back, I really miss those good old days and hope that I could revisit a good time in my dreams.
