Some people think that robots are very important to human’s future development, while others think they are dangerous and have negative effects on society. Discuss both views and give your opinion

Stepping into the 21st century when human are entitled to a wide range of state-of-the art approaches to improve their standard of living, robots have enter into every corner of human life. Although it is commonly believed by some that the appearance of robot plays a significant role in the development of human race, others fear that these robots take their tolls on the society. As far as I am concerned, robot is really a mixed- blessing. 

A great deal of benefits from robotic system has been proven in many ways, among which the key one is that compared with human, robots which are incorporated into both domestic and industrial life are able to perform tasks in 24 hours consecutively in factories without resting. The preponderance of evidence has shown that a host of robots can help people to fulfill household duties such as cleaning their houses or washing dishes and so forth, which are by far widely enjoyed in the contemporary society. Another striking feature of technological revolution is that robots are able to work in extreme condition where human are helpless. The case is true that replacing human labor with robots tend to prevent workers from being exposed to dangerous, stressful or unhealthy environments, constituting the likelihood of reducing labor-related risks. 

Although the justification has been given for the significance of these cutting-edge machines, we cannot turn a blind eye to a diversity of repercussion of incorporating robot into the society. Provided that robots are to carry out so many labor tasks and replace labor force, factories need not so many labors that a huge number of workers are being put in the brink of being jobless. Another shortcoming when living in robot-dominated era should be taken into account is that robots have artificial intelligent and they cannot replace human intelligence in solving various problems. The case is true that few robots have been assigned in carrying out the operation in some hospitals and it seems dangerous for patients, as robots cannot be responsible for their actions. 

In the light of these facts, one can subscribe to the notion that robots are neither a boon nor a bane to human’s life. While its endeavor to bring more convenience to human race for a better standard of living has been recognized, robots has also put the creativity and employment of human at risk.

To be impossible to do a good job in sectors like medicine, education or social service because of their inability to understand humans’ ultimate feelings:
